Core Processing System Upgrade FAQs

 

General Questions

Why is CAMPUS USA Credit Union upgrading their core system?

The upgrade will help us operate more efficiently, improve our products and services, as well as allow us to develop and implement new products and services, to bring more value to your CAMPUS membership.

When will the upgrade take place?

We will close our doors at 6 p.m. EST on Friday, September 29. The upgrade will be complete and CAMPUS will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, October 3.

Will CAMPUS USA Credit Union Service Centers be open during the core processing system upgrade?

No, all service centers will close at normal hours on Friday, September 29 and will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, October 3.

Can I access Online and Mobile Banking or CAMPUS Call during the upgrade?

Unfortunately, CAMPUS Online and Mobile Banking and CAMPUS Call (bank-by-phone) will be unavailable beginning 6 p.m. EST on Friday, September 29 through Monday, October 2. Please plan accordingly and conduct any time-sensitive transactions prior to 6 p.m. EST, Friday, September 29.

After upgrade weekend, you will need to re-enroll in CAMPUS Call (bank-by-phone) and set up a new PIN.

Can I access my CAMPUS Account via Shared Branching/Shared Services during the upgrade?

Shared Services (Shared Branching) will be unavailable during the upgrade. Please plan accordingly and conduct any time-sensitive transactions prior to 6 p.m. EST, Friday, September 29.

Can I access my funds at an ATM or via my CAMPUS Visa debit card during the upgrade?

You will have access to your funds through the upgrade via Visa debit and credit cards, ATM cards and checks.

CAMPUS USA Credit Union ATMs will be available during the upgrade, however, balance inquiries will be unavailable throughout the weekend and balances will not be printed on ATM receipts. 

Items placed in the Night Drop boxes and deposits made at ATMs will be posted on Tuesday, October 3.

ATM service will be fully restored on Tuesday, October 3.

Do I need to order a new CAMPUS debit or credit card?

No, your CAMPUS ATM and Visa debit cards and credit cards will continue to work as usual after the upgrade.

Will my CAMPUS credit card work during the upgrade?

Yes, CAMPUS Visa credit cards will continue to work as usual throughout the upgrade. 

Online banking will be unavailable as early as 6 p.m. EST, September 29 – October 2 so any payments due during that time should be made prior to 6 p.m. EST, Friday, September 29.

Do I need to order new checks?

The upgrade will not impact our checks and you may continue to use your current supply. You do not need to notify merchants like PayPal or utility companies, like Duke Energy or Cox Cable.

Can I apply for a loan during the upgrade?

All CAMPUS Service Centers will be closed during the upgrade, however if you apply online we will respond to your application as soon as possible on Tuesday, October 3.

When will CAMPUS USA Credit Union re-open for normal business hours?

CAMPUS USA Credit Union will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, October 3.

 

Account Number Questions

Is my account number changing?

No, your CAMPUS account number(s) will not change. However, to allow for the addition of new products and services, you may notice a zero before or after your suffix number on your statement. This will not impact your account in any way. If you have any questions about your suffix number please ask any CAMPUS representative.   

 

Direct Deposit, Automatic Payments, and Transfer Questions

Direct deposits and payments (ACH), including Social Security payments received by CAMPUS USA Credit Union that are scheduled to post from Friday, September 29 at 6 p.m. EST through October 1, will post on Friday evening. Deposits and payments (ACH) scheduled to post on Monday, October 2, will post by Tuesday, October 3.

 

Will my direct deposit or automatic payments continue to post after the upgrade?

The upgrade will not impact any direct deposits or automatic payments (ACH), including Social Security payments scheduled to post after upgrade weekend. You will continue to receive all direct deposits and automatic payments as usual, after October 3, 2017.

Will my automatic transfers between my CAMPUS accounts continue to post after the upgrade?

Yes, all automatic transfers will continue to post after the upgrade and there is no action required by you. 

 

Dividend Questions

Will dividend payments be affected by the system upgrade?

All dividends due to be paid September 29 or 30 will be posted by end of day September 29 and will appear on your September 30 account statement. Any dividends due to be paid October 1 through October 3 will post by October 3.

 

 

Online and Mobile Banking Questions

Will Online and Mobile banking be available during the system upgrade?

Unfortunately, CAMPUS Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable as early as 6 p.m. EST on Friday, September 29 through October 2. Please plan accordingly and conduct any time-sensitive transactions prior to 6 p.m. EST, Friday, September 29.

ATM service will be available throughout the upgrade. CAMPUS USA Credit Union ATMs will be available during the upgrade, however, balance inquiries will be unavailable and balances will not be printed on ATM receipts. 

Will Mobile Deposit be available during the upgrade?

CAMPUS Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit will be unavailable as early as 6 p.m. EST on Friday, September 29 through October 2. Please plan accordingly and conduct any time-sensitive transactions prior to 6 p.m. EST, Friday, September 29.

Any ATM deposits that occurred during the upgrade will be posted promptly on Tuesday, October 3.

Will the upgrade affect how I log in to Online and Mobile Banking?

No, once Online and Mobile Banking Service resumes, you will log in just as you did prior to the upgrade. No action is required on your part.

Will Bill Pay be available during the upgrade?

Previously scheduled bill payments will occur as scheduled. However, no new bill payments may be scheduled during the upgrade.

What if I have a Bill Pay payment scheduled during the upgrade?

Bill payments will occur as scheduled, though new bill payments may not be originated during the upgrade.

Will I need to re-enter any of my bill pay information after the system upgrade?

No, no action is required on your part.

 

 

Loan Questions

Will my automatic loan payment transfers continue to post after the upgrade?

Yes, your automatic loan payment transfer(s) will continue to post after the upgrade. If your payment is scheduled to occur automatically, there is no action required by you. Your loan payment is scheduled and will be made on time. However, you will not be able to make payments on any CAMPUS USA Credit Union loan in person, online or by phone beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 29 through October 2. Please plan accordingly. 

Will I be able to apply for a loan during the upgrade?

All CAMPUS Service Centers will be closed during the upgrade, however if you apply online we will respond to your application as soon as possible on Tuesday, October 3.

Will I be able to close my loan during the upgrade?

No loan closings will occur during the upgrade.

My loan payment due date is during the upgrade. Will I be able to make a payment?

No loan closings will occur during the upgrade. All CAMPUS Service Centers will be closed and Online and Mobile Banking services will be unavailable beginning at 6 p.m. EST on Friday, September 29 through October 2. If your loan payment is due Saturday, September 30 through Monday, October 2, please plan accordingly. 

If your payment is scheduled to occur automatically, there is no action required by you. Your loan payment is scheduled and will be made on time.
